Irene and her elks

Irene is spending the Christmas time with her family in the Netherlands. I received beautiful photos of her new quilt!


This is so beautiful. Irene took the quilt to a High Tea, where a group of very talented quilters met and made a "show and tell" with their works. I received a lot of lovely photos of very amazing quilts that I would like to show in the more silent days after the holidays.
(My children from Germany came to visit for the holidays and keep me busy and happy.)

Irene also made a bag for her sister's birthday. Irene is a very busy lady. She is always silently working and working. It is amazing.
For the bag Irene used fabrics of Kaffe Fassett and put some embroideries.

Irene's pillow

I made a pillow from the stitchery. It's a very nice. My dog also like it, she has a small patchwork pillow for her head.

Molly is enjoying his naps.

Old friends are the best!

Irene has been very busy during last week. She did stitching and went to Elton Jonh's concert in Lisbon. Thirty years ago she saw him in Holland and this time she enjoyed his concert in Lisbon. During summer months Portuguese capital organizes many cultural events for all ages and interests.

A Gigantic Angel

This is a very simple but very nice angel, all in country colours. I bought this kit in Holland. When I visit Holland I normally buy my craft kit in a same shop, now I am going to make a square quilt where I bought my Angel. Before making the square quilt I have to clean a little bit my house.
Have a nice rainy Sunday. It's raining in Lisboa.
